The 8th annual Gumball 3000 is the world’s largest cult car rally, combines Phileas Fogg’s quest to traverse the world in 80 days with a rock star style-tour – a 3000-mile adventure around the world, starting in London (April 30), making its way through Europe and Asia and finishing eight days later in Los Angeles (May 7).

Team SaTan Gumball 2006 mission

Wednesday, April 12th, 2006

As we said a couple of days ago, Team SaTan is ready for the Gumball 2006. Read the story below in which cars they will participate!

In stage one, their 500 horsepower, twin turbo Bentley Arnage SATAN is blasting through Europe from London, via France, Belgium, Austria and Germany en-route to Yugoslavia, piloted by that intrepid explorer, social butterfly and professional imbecile Lord Gimp, and his co-pilot, the fearless (and fearsome) Officer E.Rotica from the planet Dearth.
This marathon effort is expected to be completed in just two of your ridiculously short earth days ~ weather, police, local mafia and time warps permitting …
All the other 100+ competitors then have their cars airlifted to Langkawi Island, off the coast of Malaysia, but we leave the Bentley in Belgrade to be shipped back home to Dearth, while we fly in the Gumball private jet to Langkawi with the other competitors, where our “Rambo Lambo” awaits us …

Uno Gomez entered the Gumball 2006

Wednesday, April 12th, 2006

Uno Gomez entered in the 2006 Gumball3000 in his 2005 green Ferrari F430. He told that the car has some custom modifications have been done to the vehicle’s suspension, drivetrain, transmission, but not as many as you would expect. In a race like the Gumball3000, it is very important to focus on modifying the vehicle’s suspension rather than the body mods, told Uno. He choose to drive Ferrari, because they have an amazing look to them while on the road.
He started rallying in 2002 beginning with two Players Run rallies followed by two Gumball 3000 in 2004 and 2005. Uno also told that driving in the Gumball is more about the challenge and the experiences you come away with rather than winning. Driving across 3 continents in 6 days is full of challenges and excitement; definitely an experience of a lifetime.
