The two brothers Christensen from Dallas, reports the first day of the 2007 Gumball Rally. They drive this Aston Martin V8 Vantage. They rented this car, but they should drive a new 997 GT3 RS!

The company we rented our vantage from, which was suposed to be a euro gt3rs in orange but didn’t have time to switch, delivered it with no fuel and bald front tires! by the time we got it sorted out we were lined up last, made the 20k seem well spent…especially when the CEL came on in Amsterdam.

Then we left London at 4pm yesterday and it is now 9am and we are finally in Germany waiting on a plane to take us to turkey.

As the Gumball rally started yesterday Rallybird catched up with Gumballers Danny Dyer and Tamar Hassan, from films like The Business and Football Factory to see what they’re up to…Danny’s just had a baby girl so congratulations to him! Read the whole interview below.

What is the latest film you’re shooting?

Danny and Tamar – We’ve got two films that are in pre-production at the moment. The first is Dead Running which should start filimng in the next few weeks and the second is Pretty Boy – about Ray Shaw, the professional boxer.

Tamar – I’m playing Ray and Danny’s playing Mad Frankie Fraser which is gonna show him a totally different light.

The Gumball 2007 start was just amazing. The most exclusive and expensive cars in the world drove down the street last sunday in London. We have took thousands of pictures and videos that we still have to sort out and will upload. We had a great time in London, met some other Gumball fans and talked with Gumball drivers.

Yes!! Glad we have a doctor, a health assistant and two nursus on the 2007 Gumball 3000 rally in case of emergency! Team #135 is coming up with this beautiful black Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. Damn, it’s hard to choose between the black beauty and the sexy nurses..

Looks like this Mercedes-Benz SLR 722 McLaren is checking. Although it has the same license plate the standard SLR drove the Gumball in 2005. Maybe a body kit, but we think it is the 722 edition! Check out the Veyron 16.4 pictures!
