Gumball 2007: Istanbul here we come!!! (route update #3)

Time for a route update! The 2007 Gumball 3000 rally route is as followed:

London - Istanbul, via Amsterdam, Munich, Venice, Dubrovnik, Athens and a surprise location.

The detailed schedule for the 2007 Gumball 3000 Rally is as follows (please note as venue details are confirmed this page will be updated):

Saturday 28th of April
- Registration and Party (for Gumball Participants only).

Sunday 29th of April
- 2pm to 6pm Car Display on Pall Mall 
- 6pm the flag is dropped and the rally begins! 
- 11pm cars will start arriving at the Amsterdam checkpoint

Monday 30th of April
- 5am Car start arriving at the German Checkpoint
- 8am Cars start arriving in Munich, cars will be on display as they start arriving.
- 7pm Dinner and Party

Tuesday 1st May

8 am Cars leave Munich
- 11am Cars start arriving at Austrian Checkpoint
- 4 pm Cars start arriving in Venice, cars on display in San Basillio
- 9 pm Venetian Ball

Wednesday 2nd May
- 8am Cars depart Venice for Dubrovnik
- Lunchtime checkpoint at the Fortress Tvrdava Nehaj
- 7pm Cars on display in Dubrovnik Old Town
- 10pm Cocktail Party

Thursday 3rd May
- 8am Cars depart for Athens
- Lunchtime checkpoint at the Tirana Government Building
- 8pm Car display in Zappio
- 10pm “White Party”

Friday 4th May
The surprise day….

Saturday 5th May
- 8am Depart for Istanbul
- Lunchtime checkpoint at Thessalonki Electra Palace
- 8pm Car will be on display at the Blue Mosque in Istanbul
- 10pm Final Party

    I don’t think this itinerary is worth 40.000 Euros :-( Remember any road rallies are now illegal in France and in many others countries. They can easily stop and impound all the cars.

    Also many “virgin” gumballer(s) will be once again disappointed by the G3K rally organization. They love to promise the moon without never delivering. It happened in the past and it will happen again…

    why your information so differs from the official gumball3000.com site?
    we want to visit gumball at one of the chekpoints, but its good to know where it will be ,
    the infos is very different right now,

    Wow, on Monday 30th of April they’ll be in my hometown Munich!
    Is it true that they arrive at 8am and stay here the whole day? Where are the cars displayed?
