Team 55 driving a BMW M5 or a Mazda RX8 ?
This picture was taken in Calais (France) yesterday by the Gumball3000blog crew. On the official Gumball 3000 list, Team 55 was listened with a BMW M5. Yesterday we saw this Mazda RX8 with number 55 stickers on it. We hope to give an explanation as soon as possible.

Rumour goes that the guys in the RX-8 are non-paticipant and they where trying to get in the rally, instead of the M5. Don’t know if it’s true, just a rumour.

I can confirm that those guys don’t compete in the Gumball Race. They putted the posters on their car and they did cought by the police because they think they competed with the Gumball. They also did manged to enter the chateau in Belgium…

hi G.ballerz….just reciving some info about those RX guys..i’ve heard that they just wanted to drive a view miles with the rally trough belgium..because they love it…just as a fan….about the stickers…he made it himself to look a like..gave the feeling…and about the nr 55…he check’ted it on the starting grid list….and the number 55 said…
“N°55- NOT RUNING”..so don’t know but the RX is not running the race..and never passed a checkpoint….about the chateau in belgium…they just driver the other cars gumballers and normal passenger cars…but because of all the stickers..informers of the gumball leaded him into the caste agains his own will….thas what i heard…any questions reply it…

I was responsible for welcoming Gumballer in Beloeil. They tried to enter the Castle but were not Gumballer due to the absence of Gumball Passeport. But good job from them, they nearly succeed.

i saw this car in belgium a few times. In the begin he had only the white vinyl.
